Bug List



1. My room is too hot, but also too cold when I don't use a blanket.
          Why: Out of  date centralized Air Conditioning.

2. When I workout, the machines/equipment at my local gym are more often then not occupied and I have to wait long periods of time.
            Why: Gym is not big enough for the amount of members using it.
         
3. When driving on the highway, cars tend to cut me off on the outermost lanes that are only meant to be used my licensed officials.
            Why: Impatient drivers that are in a hurry.

4. Cars that don't move when the light turns green.
            Why: Often distracted by surroundings or phones.
5. Bicycle users on campus that go really fast and almost hit me.
             Why: Late to class or in a hurry.
6. People that use scooters around campus and cut me off.
             Why: They do not understand that it is illegal and are trying to avoid traffic.
7. The Dining Hall's bizarre summer hours.
              Why: Not enough people both taking classes and working on campus during the summer.

8. The Panda Express, located in the Student Union, having enormous lines around 12:00 P.M.
              Why: Around the time where students and teachers are leaving class.

9. Panda Express running out of Teriyaki chicken around 3 P.M.
               Why: Popular choice on the Panda Express Menu.

10. Gas station's running out of gas during Hurricanes.
                Why: Popular commodity/necessity in case of emergency.

11. Canvas not giving me notifications on assignments, after I turn on notifications. 
                 Why: In app bug, that developers of the app haven't fixed.

12. Driver's in Miami not yielding to pedestrians.
                 Why: Impatient drivers that are always in a rush.

13. Netflix removing my favorite show's off their platforms.
                  Why: Contract and money issues. 

14. News outlets that misrepresent and take issues out of context.
                  Why: In order to attract viewers/readers.

15. Car engine problems.
                  Why: Increase mileage from frequent up to Gainesville.

16. Garbage disposal trucks driving around my neighborhood early in the morning.
                   Why: Times the company was instructed to operate.

17. Spam Ads on YouTube videos.
                   Why: How the app makes money. 

18. Not having service in certain locations.
                    Why: Areas that are out of satellite reach. 

19. Waiting over an hour to contact a staff member that works in the University of Florida Financial Aid office.
                    Why: A high influx of students calling at the same time. 

20. When Starbucks employees spell my name wrong.
                     Why: Might be hard to hear and with the amount of customers that go to Starbucks, it might be hard to spell names at times. 

This assignment was difficult because of what the professor said in the video. It is hard to remember bugs that occurred due to my brain only being able to remember the big things. With that said, it's difficult to notice some things that happen on a day to day basis because after some time, it becomes the norm.

Blog Post 4

   In this blog post I will be responding and analyzing Christine Chin’s, ‘Cosmopolitan Sex Workers’ article, that focuses on sex workers and how there is prejudice against there profession. Personally, I can admit that prior to reading this piece I could not wrap my head around women enjoying sex work. I can relate feeling this way due to the fact that there is a negative societal stereotype in regard to women and sex work. This is displayed in media, movies, and even literature, making this topic having definite negative prejudice. After I read this article, I stopped to think and was able to find common examples of sex workers who enjoy their profession. Today, only fan’s is quite possibly the biggest success around the world.
